About MARC Robotic Cart Software Updates
At MuL Technologies, we're continuously making improvements to the MARC product line. This includes incremental software and hardware improvements that enhance MARC carts' functionality and feature set.
This software update is no exception!
What products does this pertain to?
- MuL Technologies MARC 5 series carts, including
- Model 5470 using software version 3.0.9 or earlier .
- Model 5475 using software version 3.0.9 or earlier.
To verify your cart's current software version, boot the cart up and tap the Info button on the EZ-Go Navigation panel. 
Feature highlights of version 3.0.10
- Users now have the ability to view the world as MARC sees it. This frequently requested feature allows users to view the map that MARC has created and 'see what it sees'. This can be very beneficial when trying to figure out certain behaviors, or improve the overall mapping process for an increased chance of routing success.
Improved the quality of motion. The “swerving” has been eliminated.
- Fixed an issue that would on rare occasions cause MARC carts to prematurely 'complete' a route before it reached the correct destination.
- Improved detection of allowed areas. If the cart is right on the edge of the allowed area it can trigger “out of allowed area” or think that it is in the allowed area when it is slightly outside of the allowed area.
- Improved caster wheel keep out area. Depending on their position at any moment, free-turning caster wheels were occasionally obstructing the scan area underneath the cart.
- Added recovery mechanism to restart a custom boards if they becomes unresponsive, eliminating unnecessary 1125 – 1127 errors.
- Resolved occasional 1160 error when saving or deleting the map.
- Additional performance enhancements and error corrections.
